Dewangan Jan Kalyan Samiti celebrates Grand Parmeshwari Mahotsav with devotion and zeal

• As a new initiative taken by DJKS, seven Purodhas (senior most people) of Dewangan Samaj were honoured by "Dewangan Aadi Purush Deepchand Samman".

Dewangan Jan Kalyan Samiti ( DJKS) Bhilai celebrated the Grand Parmeshwari Mahotsav with a devotion and zeal at Parmeshwari Bhawan Pragati Nagar Risali to mark the special Pooja of Goddess Parmeshwari. As a new initiative taken by DJKS, seven Purodhas (senior most people) of Dewangan Samaj were honoured by "Dewangan Aadi Purush Deepchand Samman".

Tamradhwaj Sahu Ex Minister of the State was the chief guest and Shshi Sinha Mayor Risali Nigam, Tulsiram Dewangan Advisor Technical University, Meghnath Yadav President CG Sarv Samaj Sangathan, Purshottam Sahu President Bhilai Varishth Nagrik Mahasangh, Purshottam Dewangan District President BJP Bhilai, Dr DP Deshmukh were present as special guest.

Addressing the gathering Mr Tamradhwaj Sahu told that Dewangan Samaj is achieved new heights to strengthen the society in education and culture. He praised the DJKS personal for starting to honour the Purodhas (senior most people) of the Dewangan Samaj. Ghanshyam Kumar Dewangan President DJKS, elaborated the great history of celebration of Parmeshwari Mahotsav and Birth of Aadi Purush Deepchand. Seven eminent personalities of the Dewangan Samaj Sevak Ram Dewangan Bhathapara, Kunjlal Dewangan Dhamtari, Jageshwar Prasad Dewangan Balod, Dr Shyamlal Dewangan, Ramkhilawan Dewangan Bhilai, Bhushanlal Dewangan, Lalit Dewangan Chhaya Durg were honoured as "Dewangan Aadi Purush Deepchand Samman".

At the occasion 28th edition of the souvenir "Aawran" were released by the guests. Various cultural programs including Chattisgarhi, Bharatnatyam and other classical dance were presented by the girls and ladies of Dewangan Samaj. Around 125 intellectual youths of Dewangan Samaj with great achievement in various fields were also felicitated at the occasion.

Marriageble youths also introduced themselves among the Samaj. Programs was conducted by Mrs Suman Dewangan and RG Dewangan. Vote of thanks was given by Vinod Dewangan secretary.

Full day celebration of Parmeshwari Mahotsav was started In the morning by conducting Shobha Yatra of Mata Parmeshwari from DPS Risali chowk to Parmeshwari Bhawan.

Hundreds of people of Dewangan Samaj were present at the occasion with families.
